Financial Times Seasonal Appeal for 2009 opens
Every year, the FT features the work of a charity organisation, carefully chosen because it brings enormous publicity and offers of funding. This year’s focus is on Room to Read, an organisation begun by ex-Microsoft exec John Woods, to help raise literacy rates in the developing world.
